The center was over the ball as far as I could tell.

Only because the ref wasn't and didn't make any attempt to.

Without seeing the substitution there's no way of telling for sure, but I suspect the sub occurred after he marked it ready for play. If so where he was was the only place he could be. I think they were using an 8th official so the U isn't in position to stop the snap.

Should have at least been an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and possible ejection. This is just absurd what is going on with him at FSU and for Jimbo to continue with is dog and pony show is pretty saddening.

I literally cannot believe it wasn't at least an unsportsmanlike penalty. And their fans are just like "haters gonna hate".

Sat in a skybox with a big FSU booster Saturday nafternoon/night. He told me they can't handle another year of Jameis Winston. Jimbo has been told to do whatever/say whatever he needs to Jameis to get him to enter the draft. I lold because I figured he wasn't going to put it so bluntly. The fans & the students have little impact on their feelings towards the matter.

Only time I can remember seeing it happen was Rolando shoving a ref in the end zone Of the VT game. He was penalized for the unsprotsman like on the Hoakie player but not for the ref shove. I remember being shocked he didn't get ejected.

I think you just proved the point of several posters in this thread.

Mizzou would definetly have gotten a penalty.

But I don't see any of our guys being so arrogant or stupid.

Bama wouldn't. But, then, Bama wouldn't shove the referee in the first place. It violates employer/employee codes of conduct, and it costs money to train and replace refs. That's the answer we're aiming for, right?

Apples to oranges. If it were bama the ref would have set the ball down as fast as possible and never stood over it. So there would be no need to shove.

B.S. No SEC ref would put his own life and the life of his family in danger by hurrying up the game in direct defiance of Saban's wishes. That's how zebras get shot, late at night, while the neighbors mysteriously didn't see or hear anything.

I thought it was the other way around, that they were gonna let him get away with shoving the other player but when he touched the official that's what got the flag thrown.

No, they threw the flag on the late shove right away. The ref shove should have been an ejection; they never called it.

You're either a fricking idiot, or you're pandering to LSU fans. He was hit with two 15 yard penalties. One for the player, one for the ref.

My point, you moronic imbicile, was that he should have been ejected by rule, not the fact that I mis-remembered an detail that happened 6 years ago. He should have been ejected.

The FSU players could've held down the ref on the 50 yard line while Jameis raped the dude and Jimbo Fisher would say boys will be boys.
