You have 42 according to the official PDF file from the NCAA and so do we. I'll give you 64 football title, that's 43. We have the 58, 03, 07 football titles.

Correct. LSU and Arkansas have 42 NCAA titles, but LSU claims 3 football MNCs and 1 basketball MNC. Arkansas only claims the 1 football MNC.

so:

LSU - 46
Arkansas - 43

ETA: Arkansas should have 44 NCAA titles, but 2 were vacated by the NCAA

Incorrect. LSU has 43 NCAA recognized national championships.

Arkansas, after winning men's track and field this year, also has 43.

Everyone looks at it different but I would give the nod to UF with those sports just because they've won NCs in more sports. Just mho though.

Brah, football is a sport. NCAA might not recognize an official football champ but football is definitely the most important sport.

The pdf you are looking at isn't real-time. We won another national championship just a couple weeks ago.

The NCAA published document (which trumps Wikipedia) says Arkansas has 42.

That is current as of March 24.

Once again, your statement was that LSU has "more national championships than anyone in the SEC". And once again, this statement is incorrect. You can keep dancing around it or playing the semantics card but it isn't accomplishing anything. You were wrong. Get over it.

Dude, what's wrong that statement? We have the NCAA titles plus 3 football titles. Who has more? I'm not dancing around anything. These are facts.

I disagree. That list does not include our football national championship. We have 43 when you include that. Sorry, not going to budge on that. We rightfully earned that national championship.

God you are dense. You said TOTAL NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS. Not football. Not baseball. Not track. Total.

I give up. You are hopeless.

The NCAA does not award a championship in Division I Football (FBS). Naturally the NCAA will not count your claimed MNC as a title. It doesn't count any of Alabama's eleventy billion titles either.

Go back and look at my statement on page 4. I said we have more total NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS than anybody.

If you're counting this year only, it is a joke to have MSU at 13 behind Missouri and Tennessee. The only thing those schools were better at is Basketball. We were better in football by a pretty good margin and are better in baseball.

According to this,we have the most individual national titles in the SEC. Does that count for something?
