Yeah, that’s false.

Look, it was nowhere near the worst call ever. In fact, live, it was bang-bang. What was absurd was the replay not overturning it. And I think Bama has a 95% chance of winning the game had it been correctly called an interception. There was little chance Jefferson was driving down the field and scoring a TD.

Guy was like 6-7 yards down the field.

It's not that absurd considering the replay monitors were shite back then.

Well, with about three minutes left LSU would have had the ball, and a TD wins it. So definitely “in doubt”, but I just didn’t think it likely.

Julio touched the ball first and was standing out of bounds. Dead ball, just like a fumble would have been.

his feet are up when he touches the ball. By the time his feet come down there is no way to determine if he still has contact with it.

Every snap from the other angle looks like this. 1st snap feet not down.

2nd angle he is no where near the ball. PP7 boxed his arse out

3rd angle confirms 2nd angle

Thought that was 2009. We won by 9 points.

also it was a 6 point game with 5:56 remaining and LSU potentially would have had the ball at the 33 Yard line

but game was not in doubt

The Bama fans who can't admit that was a pick at this point aren't worth the discussion. It's like they have a fear that admitting the truth will retroactively cost them the game or something. So odd.

Yes because you were allowed to keep the ball after that and get a FG. It was a 6 point game in the last few minutes when that happened.

The Curtis Brown no-call TD vs the barn was another one.

Tell it to the REC pal. That's what the announcer said.

2009 Florida vs Arkansas, the whole fricking thing
This is still the only game I've ever watched as a neutral party that left me convinced that the refs were told ahead of time who should win. The calls, especially toward the end, were absolutely awful. I actually felt mad for Arkansas fans.

LSU at Auburn. Take your pick of half a dozen calls/no calls/reviews.

I agree. LSU has gotten some pretty bs calls to win the past couple years.

Alabama/LSU Baton Rouge in 2004. Bama driving to take a 2 possession lead with our 3rd string QB Spencer Pennington...3rd down throw to the endzone and Corey Webster assaulted Keith Brown in the open field and shoved him to the ground and intercepted it..... No Call

I particularly enjoyed that. Doesn’t come close the number and severity of no calls on Bama through the years.

yes. in a 1 score game...with about 6 minutes to drive the ball. some may even say the game at that point could have been considered "in question" not Crimson Wraith of course. 6 points is obviously an insurmountable lead in his mind.
