For LSU to me it’s 2015 and it aint fricking close.

7-0 (would have been 8-0 but opener vs a cupcake was canceled due to lightning).

Fournette was the Heisman lock.

#2 in the playoff rankings.

Then we go to Tuscaloosa and get our arse kicked which was the first of 3 in a row. Henry ripped the Heisman out of Fournette’s hands.

I would say thank God for our slump buster win over Aggie in the finale but that led to that Slimy Cocksucker Joe Alleva retaining Les Miles and push the program back another year.

AND NOW THAT SEASON IS OFFICIALLY 0-12 BECAUSE OF THAT MOTHER frickER LES MILES.

So yeah we went from 7-0 #2 in the CFP to 0-12. Beat that shite mother frickers.

Got to be 2014 Auburn. We were #2 in the nation in early November.

We ended up 8-5 with a loss in the Outback bowl.

That was the year that yall State and Ole Miss made up the initial top 4 correct? I’d say all 3 programs have an argument for that one lol.

1999. We were 9-1 and ranked #3 in the BCS with our only loss being by 1 point in OT to #8 Bama. Ended up 9-4 after getting arse blasted by Bama 34-7 in the SEC title game (remember, this was Mike Dubose, who would get fired a year later) and then losing a stinker to a coach-less Sparty in the Citrus Bowl.

2006 Auburn was pretty egregious and hilarious as well. Lost 38-17 at home to a down Georgia team. I remember Aubie with his "ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BID" sign on television before kickoff.

Georgia then went on to beat Auburn in

It's crazy how much the rivalry has turned in UGA's favor since that 06 game. It was always back and forth.
I also wonder what the BCS would've done at the end of the year if they would've had to choose between 12-1 SEC champ UF or 11-1 Auburn who beat UF (Arkansas still wins the West even if Auburn beats UGA).

I was actually really proud of the team after that SECCG loss. It sucked, but nobody gave us a chance and that might've been the most loaded Alabama squad ever and I was still really proud of the team.

2007 South Carolina

6-1 with lone loss @ #2 LSU. Ranked #6 in the country.

Vanderbilt: Loss
@ Tennessee: Loss
@ Arkansas: Loss
Florida: Loss
Clemson: Loss

Finished 6-6 and missed a bowl game.

1998 ... we started out on a roll, like gangbusters, handled Ball State easily but then we collapsed and kept collapsing for the next 21 straight games.

Now that's a collapse.

Someone beat that.

For the longest time in the Georgia/Auburn rivalry it was "the road team just about always wins." And since 2006 it's basically been "Georgia just about always wins."

Nah State finished 10-2 and OM 9-3. Good year for both programs

2012 for state. 7-0 start. Finished 8-5 and got absolutely blown out in those losses, weren’t even competitive

South Carolina gave Coach Richt one of his 2 or 3 biggest shitkickings of his Georgia coaching career that season.

I remember Herbstreit saying something to the extent of "I can't ever remember a big hyped game being this one sided."

Georgia finished the season ranked No. 2 in the country that year. 2007 was the strangest year ever in the SEC.

That 2012 State team was strange

7-0 start but never really looked the part. Got up to No. 13 and lost to Bama, Aggy and LSU all in blowout fashion.

Did beat Arkansas but got blown out by Ole Miss to end the season. Got beat by Northwestern in the Gator Bowl.

I would submit 2000 for worst collapse though. State beat both SEC Championship participants mid season and had three chances to wrap up Atlanta and lost all three. At least they were close. Two overtime losses to Arkansas and LSU and then to Ole Miss.

Watched Auburn lose to Florida in SEC Champ game. State held Auburn without a first down through three quarters and beat the shite out of Florida.

I think you need to look that up as we were ranked in the top 5.

2006. We needed help from people ahead of us to get into the national title talks, and it all miraculously happened. The only thing we had to do was beat LSU then beat Florida in the SEC Championship game. We lost both then lost whatever bowl game we ended up in. I think it was the Cotton Bowl.

Our only loss up to that point had been to Reggie Bush and the boys when McFadden was out with a broken toe.
