Three immediately come to mind for South Carolina:

1. Clemson (2003). Lost 63-17. Not even giving a courtesy write-up on this game. Clemson just beat the shite out of SC.

2. Florida (2001). Lost 54-17. College Gameday was there, and the fans wore all black for a stadium "blackout". Spurrier stated after the game that one of his receiver's told him that it was nice of South Carolina to wear all black, it made the ball easier to pick out of the sky.

3. Texas A&M (2014). Lost 52-28. Launch of the SEC Network. South Carolina came in at #9 off of an 11-game winning season the year before. Kenny Hill proceeded to light SC up for 511 yards and 3 touchdowns. Broke an 18- game home winning streak for South Carolina.

Honorable Mentions: Citadel (2015) and Auburn (2011).

"worst" is hard to describe. Take 2016 UT for instance, it was a heartbreaker of an ending but it was honestly a pretty awesome game overall from start to finish.

I think '99 Auburn will alwasy stand out first and foremost. We were 6-2 entering the game, which in those days was really damn good for us. AU was 4-5. In the 90s the home team in the DSOR typically lost so it seemed like we were going to reverse that trend and stay alive for a great new years day bowl. And they absolutely boat raced us, I think they jumped out by 28 or 31 points in the first half. Ben Leard to Ronnie Daniels just absolutley could not be stopped. It was so deflating.

I've watched us lose plenty of games, including some upsets that we had no business losing. But that one sticks out as 1)one we probablky shouldn't have lost 2) an arse beating

On the flip side of the coin I'll submit 2006 colorado. CU was AWFUL during that era and we were coming off an SEC title and sugar bowl season. The Stafford era was underway as he was thrust into duty early with JT3 getting injured. This was suppsoed to be an easy tune up walk in the park to get stafford some stat padding and cruise to victory but midway through the 4th quarter it was 13-0 coloardo. We looked about as dreadfully bad as one could even fathom. Stafford was benched and Joe Cox came off the bench to lead us to a late 14-13 win, so the ending was kinda compelling I guess but overall holy cow what a stinker.

This was easily the most embarrassing given the context.

Auburn vs Tennessee 2008 in Jordan-Hare. A tire fire of a game best described as "two monkeys trying to frick a football."

Bama beat LSU 31-0 2002

I remember the Bama player getting hurt and they called the helicopter in to take him away.

Then we peaced out and went to a party. Was like the only game we left early as students.

Been pretty spoiled as a younger lsu fan but I’ll try

-2002 Alabama 31-7

-2008 ole miss. 31-13 I think. The score was not what it appeared. Ole miss absolutely spanked LSU all day, and I think they ended the game about to make it 38-13. That same season Georgia put 52 on lsu with stafford and Moreno, that one is up there.

-2018 Alabama because the crowd was absolutely loud as frick and a fiesta bowl winning lsu team got shut out at home. Inexcusable but par for the course.

-2017 Troy. Jesus, shrimp boat.

-too sleepy but les miles had so many snoozers for OOC games where lsu put up 30 and passed for 150 yards. Plenty of boring football with that guy

Historically, Alabama/Southern Miss was a good matchup. Obviously the last decade hasnt been good to USM (nor anyone else for that matter) but ither than that, they've put up a good fight.

1993 Florida LSU. Gators won 58-3 in Tiger Stadium. Total drubbing.

1988 Miami LSU. 44-3 loss in a monsoon. Or maybe it was a hurricane.

Auburn v LSU in 2018ish. Auburn was up 10 against LSU but gave up the lead to Burrows and refs that called defensive passing interference a ton and then lost.

I was in the visitor section with LSU fans because those seats are actually cheap and nice except for the 95 degree sun beating on them. The LSU fans were overall pretty nice.

Like I said, it was 95 degrees. I drank all morning so I wasn’t feeling good once the 4th quarter came around. Later that night I read Auburn fans bitching because the crowd wasn’t into the game

Lousiana-Monroe 2007. I always heard rumors that DJ Hall punched John Parker Wilson in the face in the locker room.

Iron Bowl 2010. Amazingly the 2nd worst Iron Bowl ever, but it was home so that sucked. Freezing cold, blew a huge lead, AU won the title. Holy shite

Either way... blowouts or games your team choked away or games your team shouldn't have lost. Depends on what you define as worst

I'll go 2007 USF & 2012 Texas A&M off the top of my head for worst.

Runners up - 2006 Arkansas, 2006 UGA, 2022 Penn State...2021 Miss State...there could be a lot...
