That's what happens when your t caught cheating.
OM will come soon enough; but they will return to where they have always been.

It is always good to talk smack when a team is down. I believe we made you tougher and you're welcome.

No wonder Auburn and Tennessee hate Saban so much. At least Auburn let this push them to the top once, while opening that checkbook again. This was after Bama's 1st title under Saban, so Auburn fans should thank Saban for motivating them. Hate can be a powerful thing sometimes..... lol
Bet both would love Bama to get punished again.

That's what happens when you hire a fan favorite with no head coaching experience (DuBose) instead of a proven commodity. If not for Bob Bockrath and Andrew Sorensen, the down years of 1997-2007 - including the whole Albert Means scandal - probably doesn't happen.

Would you consider Albert Means an NFL bust?
Asking for a friend.

Someone actually had a worse conference record than the Florida team that lost to Ga. Southern?
That team managed to win 3 conference games. Worst year since Jimmy Carter and UT still managed to do worse.
at the Vols

That's a pretty interesting streak by auburn and the vols

Auburn is the ultimate Dow-Jones'er, in the last 8 years they have a 2-6, 3-5, 0-8,2-6 SEC mark..yet played for the natty twice..in '10 off a 3-5 SEC yr prior with Chiz in just Yr #2..and in '14 off an 0-8 SEC yr with Gus in Yr #1..
With such encouraging quick success like Chiz and Gus, Aub may never allow itself a slow simmer HC like Tubby and his "one for the thumb" vs Bama..ever again.
Then again..Chiz and Gus regress back down in the valley rather harshly.

It is amazing to me, as an adult, how much Alabama fans obsess over Auburn. Despite their outward appearance they can't stop thinking about us.
The dirty secret is they need us just as much as we need them. I think we are bound to keep doing this forever.

Taking out 2002 ( 3 teams at 5-3 is hardly sucking it up) this is what each team has total.
Alabama - 7
Auburn - 5
Tennessee - 5
LSU - 3
Georgia - 3
Florida - 0 (wow, impressive)
This just shows that most powers have their downswing and it doesn't mean you'll be terrible forever.
Also impressive UF has stayed off this list, I would say in 2013 they would have been on it if the Peterman hadn't rose up and made sure the streak continued. LOL.

To be fair, Auburn did it in the SEC West

You could be right, DingDong. Lucky for Ole Miss they never made the worst list.
