Football has 22 huge guys out there going full speed. Basketball has half of that and the refs are closer to the action. Biased or not, there is no excuse for SEC officiating to be as bad as it was this season.

Bama gets favoritism because we win games by huge margins...like 52-0 and 52-0 and 59-0.
Obviously refs want to see more of that so they twist the rules in Alabama's favor.

Usually refs let them play a little more come tourney time. Not the SEC guys. They called a foul today against LSU, up 10 with 6 seconds left on a guy that wasn't even around a UT player. They showed it 3 times.

Good example. The midweek game last week or the week before had like 60 fouls called. I think it was LSU and Georgia, it was unwatchable.

So many whiny bitches coming out of the woodwork tonight. I thought L5U fans were the only ref babies, but it looks like the entire fricking conference has joined their pity party.

Its more about the fact that bball officiating in conference is by far the worst in the country.

It's out of control and it's not even against LSU. When LSU played UGA a few weeks ago there were 79 fouls called in a 40 minute game. LSU was 37-55. UGA was 15-24. It was an 8pm tip and the game ended at 10:50.

Over 40 of the 55 free throws shot by LSU that game came in the 2nd half. That's just silly.

And I stand by that thread. These refs have been fricking horrible all season. And I've never once claimed any kind of bias. They just fricking suck. Watch any sec game vs a game from conference. It's not that they are just tight, they're completely incompetent.
