Only reason I want Bama to win is I really do believe the chatter out there about Saban going out on top. If he wins his 4th for the tide, there would be no time like the present to get that NFL monkey off his back. You know it bugs the shite outta him. He needs to go to a team with a QB, Colts, Titans, Dolphins maybe, but I truly believe he's sick and tired of all the inbreads and there 15-0 yearly expectations. I think Bama wins and Saban is coaching on Sundays next year.
ETA He's even said if the Miami team doctors had let him sign Brees he might still be there today.

It's fricking nonsense to say that you don't care how your conference is viewed. How the SEC is viewed overall can be the difference when the Committee is deciding whether some team (let's say the ButthurtU Snivelers from Red Stick) is the number 5 ranked team and is out of the Playoffs, or is number 4 and in the Playoffs.

The game last night doesn't prove the SEC is good. It proves that Kiffin can draw up a good gameplan and that D'antonio didn't either didn't have the athletes on the outside and up the middle to stretch Bama's D or he is just too stubborn.

I understand that some of y'all only pull for your team but every one needs their conference to win their respective bowl. Conference affiliation plays a huge part in where teams get ranked!

Bama is as good as advertised. I don't think anyone ever denied them their due. The rest of the conference..eh..like O said..we'll see. I'd take ohio State, MSU, Iowa, Michigan vs. the top 4 of any conference.
In cfb..you have to be lucky and good. If Ole Piss doesn't shite the bed on 4th and 25..Bama probably doesn't even get the chance to prove anything.
OSU played MSU in driving cold wind/rain...wonder what Jake Coker could have done in those conditions? try going up against the MSU defense without the forward pass in play. It's 4 qtrs of last nights 1st qtr.
ND is 30 seconds from being undefeated..and that would include a w over Clemson.

That is spot on. So what if Arky lost or any team lost early to non conf teams. Arkansas it light years better now and Old Mess would not lose to memphis tomorrow. Let the bowl games continue and lets see how it goes now.

Big 10 lost to all the Mac teams at beginning of last year but bowl games erased it last year. Sec this year will erase regular season with bowl season just like big 10 dos last year
