Where are all the "experts" that had A field day bashing the SEC at now ? After Bama trashes Clemson the SEC will claim its' spot at the top of the NCAA mountain once again .

The SEC is overrated
Arkansas got beat by Toledo and Texas Tech
Ole Miss lost to Memphis
Auburn almost lost to an FCS team
TAMU is a mess
LSU is above average at best
The SEC East as a whole is really bad.
Florida winning the East is nothing special when you realize how much of a shite field the other teams were. You saw them get blasted in consecutive weeks to end the season prior to the bowl games and they are going to lose to Michigan to. Their claim to greatness this year was beating up on Ole Miss with a QB on PEDs.
3 schools lost their long tenured coaches to either retirement or firing.
Tennessee improved to be average now.
Vandy is back to being Vandy.
UK still can't win 6 for shite.
The conference is Bama. There are no other teams that you could consider top 10 in the country.

Honestly I would not be the least bit upset if every sec school besides LSU got their asses kicked in the post season.
I don't care enough about conference pride to pull for Bama, Ole Miss, aTm, Florida, Auburn.

I'm with you. I still don't understand this conference pride fandom that has developed really over the last 10 years or so. When I was in college in the 80s I don't recall anyone raving about pulling for other SEC teams to win or taking pride in the overall SEC record. I understand that things have changed now with so much more media coverage of every college game and virtually every game available on TV or online. But I'm sorry, there is simply no way I'm taking pleasure in any Bama victory. Why in God's name should we be happy for them to win another national championship and continue to be able to re-load for another one year after year? I didn't get my degree from the SEC...screw that.

I root for LSU. I really don't care about the SEC nonsense the Gumps and misguided LSU fans want us to have.
We had an average season and I don't see who Alabama winning the national championship helps LSU in recruiting since all LSU needs to do is keep all good players in LA and get some prospects from neighboring states. Plus Alabama can't take all the recruits that want to go there so LSU can always recruit well regardless of how bama does in the title game.

I will explain my reason and strictly because BAMA has established a stacked power house team with recruits and the only way to topple them is for BAMA to start losing and their recruiting will plunge and Saban will leave.
Now I do not hate BAMA, this is wasted energy but not rooting for them is easy and I lose no sleep
BAMA's program is just better than every college team in college football and if Saban stays another 10 years they will win 5 more titles

You guys have It all wrong. If Alabama wins the National title, it's basically the same as LSU winning a title because we're in the same conference.
C'mon guys, remember when the NCAA gave Wake Forest a piece of the title when Florida State won it?
Or Purdue hoisting the trophy after Ohio State won?

Tell me one other conference you'd rather LSU play in? Not one of us would rather play in any other conference other than the SEC, that's a fact.
I am proud of the fact that LSU plays in the SEC because it's the toughest conference in college football year in and year out. We knock heads here, and if you don't bring your "A" game every week you can get beat by any other conference foe. Don't think that playing week in/week out in the SEC doesn't help make Bama the team that it is. If you win the conference you are respected by everyone in football.
I don't care that Bama is at the top. Right now we don't deserve to be there. If we put together a winning formula of coaches/players we can be.
I don't love any of our conference foes either, but I'm proud to say we play them every year.
