You're aware you get to foot the bill as a taxpayer when the uninsured go to the ER and need care?

The bigger issue here though is no one is actually paying for healthcare. It's all subsidized by insurance. So we don't care what the hospital makes us pay. Which is why it's so fricking expensive for the uninsured to go get care. Not enough competition.

I do not have an answer here as I do not have time to follow all the health care debate. All I can say is my general premise that if you do not work for it, you do not deserve it. Maybe that means letting people die and starve. I just do not know, but I do not like that over 50% of Americans pay ZERO income tax and over a third of my paycheck is gone before it gets to me.
