What is the rule on how the batter can be halfway out of the box/up the line and still swinging?

Also, there is not one good looking chick on either Bama or Washington.

I miss the mid 2000s Arizona women softball teams.

they are supposed to call them if they make contact out of the box, but very few do

I've seen MLB & minor league batters do that & nothing called. Then why have a batter's box?

I was talking about standing in/out of the batters box while at the plate.

I forget who it was, but there was an MLB player in the late 90s/early 2000s that when he came up to bat the first time, the first thing he did was take his spikes and erase the back line of the batters box, so he could back up just ever so slightly. Never saw him get called on it either.

Perhaps you are watching slapping which works in softball due to distance and speed that is not in baseball. Unlike a bunt, where the batter is stationary, the slapper is already in motion. Here is a link to get a better feel.

Baseball will use the push bunt on occasion, lazy pitcher and deep 2B. Batter gets moving but nothing like softball.
