Where I went to school, they had a female teacher paddle the girls and some of the boys if a male teacher/coach couldn't be found.

I don't necessarily think he got off on it sexually but that doesn't mean it wasn't extremely inappropriate. I don't know if you have a daughter or not but plenty of parents would not be ok with that and justifiably so. In most situations that could be grounds for termination. It's just a bad look all around.

Yeah... my daughter looked up that Dalmasso person's facebook page... said she looked like a real winner with no agenda whatsoever.
Briarcrest sent out an email, I think it's already been posted here. Much ado about pretty much nothing, at this point.

If there is any truth at all to any of these rumors, no matter how small the amount of truth, I bet the admin of Briarcrest let out a collective sigh of relief when Ole Miss hired him.

What we've heard so far isn't as damning as the rumors of sleeping with students, but it's unacceptable behavior.
The Briarcrest rumors probably won't meet the angry villagers expectations, but doesn't change the fact that Freeze was justifiably termed.
It'll come out in the wash eventually, but we haven't heard boo outta Freeze.. if he was wrongly termed he would be all over twitter etc claiming persecution etc..

So this does not sound right at all to me.

When I went to Briarcrest, they gave us a choice. Detention or Licks. If you chose licks, you stood up, bent over a chair, Papa Joe Clayton checked to make sure you hadn't padded your butt with extra underwear or whatever and you got your licks. They didn't call in other faculty or anything of that nature. Not sure what they did about girls, no girl was dumb enough to ask for licks.
