because the 'fake coach' has taken you to the wire with inferior teams in your glory years.

Comparing Shula to a coach who's 58-16 is irresponsible, no matter how goofy Miles is.

I didn't ask that.

Answer the Question.

So you admit that if you were an LSU fan you would expect championships?

And you're argument here is what again?

Yes. Find another Saban and hire him. Good luck with that.

So is this colorado thing really being talked about? I know Miles was OC there way back in the day, so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility

So have they not proven they could hire a real coach? That was your requirement.

No it was just Woody Paige tossing around potential options.

Yes Miles has the whole Mccartney connection and supposedly the family really liked Boulder. I doubt it happens but we'll see I guess.

We could be telling you the same thing in the next few months....I HIGHLY almost 100% doubt it, but no one knows really. Not giving LSU credit for hiring Saban is straight up criminal though.

See, we're in agreement here hbT. His wins were against an SEC that wasn't that strong.

Still, you can't possibly compare him to Mike Shula.

I wasn't calling for Shula to be fired. Of course the excitement of the search was great, but we nearly ended up without a top tier coach. Without Saban, we would have been fricked. If you're going to go in a different direction, you better make sure you have a coach ready to sign. People do pay attention to the firing of a coach who is 58-16.

People also pay attention when you're tossing around 4 million a year plus

When did I refuse to give LSU credit for hiring Saban? My comment had more to do with not taking LSU seriously until they rid their program of Les.

If LSU beats Bama next week you won't be taking the program seriously?

yea no good coach is going to turn down 4 mil a year. also unlike the public im sure they would look into everything on why les was fired.

good coaches aren't pussies they dont run from jobs with expectations. if they did bama and the yankees would never have a coach
