We would love for you to come over to Houston and play us in Reliant and see how the attendance shakes out.

Reliant Stadium has a seating capacity of 71,500

Tiger Stadium - 92,400

How is that relevant? Reliant would be filled with Purple and Gold.

SEC will need to move quickly if the PAC10 gets OU, Texas, OSU, TT...and A&M. I don't see adding a Big East type team (outside of WVU) would benefit the SEC at all. I know there are some ACC teams on the radar as well, but most people think the ACC may survive because of their basketball prowess.

SEC would need to move on some solid, BCS competitive type teams pretty quickly or risk some serious loss of prestige and market share.

Texas A&M wants to join the SEC if they can get an invite. Texas, on the other hand, does not want in the SEC.

Maybe one day we'll get the opportunity to see but that will require LSU giving up one of their epic battles with La-Monroe or McNeese State. It would would also require LSU venturing out of Louisiana for a non-conference/non-bowl game for about the 5th time in 30+ years.

Florida State and Georgia Tech make the most sense. Florida State initially joined the ACC *cough cough* for basketball. I am sure it had nothing to do with the fact that they could win the conference every single year and have a chance to play in the National Championship game without playing a grueling SEC schedule. Now that Boston College, Va. Tech, and Miami have joined the conference, and Florida State has fallen on harder times (FSU was the only ACC school to vote against expansion mind you) they would seem to be more likely to want to move now.

As for Georgia Tech, they were an original member of the Southeastern Conference and have actually won more SEC titles than UGA. A fact that GA Tech fans love to rub in the faces of UGA fans.

Neither team brings exposure or a larger market to the SEC. I am not against adding these two, but I am for adding two more prominent and market stretching schools as well.

Miami, GT, FSU and Clemson. None will do a lot for expanding the SEC market or exposure beyond what it already has.

Houston doesn't draw a lot of fans because of their crappy conference. When they play a major conference team it sells out and you can't get a ticket. SEC opponents would draw huge crowds. And it would help recruitng when a Houston kid could have his whole family at a game every other year. The SEC would get a huge market. There are more people in Harris County than the entire state of Louisiana.

University of Houston isn't a BCS level football program and doesn't belong in the SEC.
