I do not want them to get their hopes up. That is what causes Updyke to be a tree surgeon.
I had forgotten about the Manziel deal, but I would never take any troll attempt from an A&M fan seriously until their own football program actually accomplishes something

I expect NM to be a much better passer and AU to have more outside weopons.
Dumbass. If NM was any kind of a passer, Georgia would have left him back there. No, you got a converted DB who's getting ready to either sprout wings or get killed!

Auburn's offense revolves around the QB read, and when it's taken away, you'll have a converted DB either throwing it up for grabs, or running for his life. I can't wait

what are you saying here. That our situation will remain the same, but everyone else will change?

Seems like someone would have picked up on that by the end of the season last year.

Eh you gotta tip your cap for this one...it was well executed.

I completely glossed over it and feel foolish.

So why couldn't the greatest Defensive mind in football take it away ? He had plenty of time to scheme for him, yet he made them look foolish.
Did you read the OP's title? Nobody had a lot of time to scheme his offense, but you can bet your arse that Alabama and the rest of the league have gone to school since the season ended. Also, if other teams go to that offensive style, defenses will get more and more experience at stopping it. There's a reason why football fads come and go in college.

Next will you tell us about how nobody in the SEC thought you would win more than six games your first year and then you got third in the west.

Wouldn't it be easier just to change the rules?

This thread. Perfect.

Nick Marshall is gonna get KILLED. He won't make it through the first half of the season.

Everybody figured Auburn out now. This gimmick offense is going to get shut down quickly in 2014.

Let's see how Gus does without his heisman runner up, Tre Mason.

Gus hasn't done ANYTHING as a head coach. One SEC championship, in a down year.

Nick Marshall just throws it up there. He is warm rhinoceros shite without Sammie Coates.

All I know is that Gus is 0-1 v. LSU. He got shut down. Gus is done, it's over (constant cough)

Bama had an emotional win over Chattanooga the week before the Iron Bowl. Auburn caught Bama tired and worn down.

No. I'm saying that your type of HUNH offense was new to the league last year, and like the wishbone, teams couldn't handle it given a few weeks, but you're gonna see the teams with the superior athletes take a different approach to it this year. Hell, look what FSU did in the 2nd half after playing against it for 2 quarters.

I won't say he's done. As long as there is a second on the clock Gus owns Saban.

You do realize the fallacy behind your assumption, correct? Nick Marshall will have a full off-season with the WRs and a legit NFL talent as a vertical threat. It is naive to believe AU won't have an overhauled offense compared to last year. A passing game requires a lot of practice with timing between the QB/WR, which AU didn't have last year with Marshall only being on campus a few weeks before week 1.

ETA:

Nevermind.. ISWYDT after the fact. You must excuse my slow cognitive function this morning.
