You mean the same Dline that got 4 straight sacks to end the game against LSU? Ask Mett how exposed he feels they are.
I will just ask Nick Marshall.

Guess you missed my yards per play post on this page. Reading is hard.
Alabama-495 total yards
Auburn- 393 total yards, NOW
FSU- 385 total yards
Auburn- 449 total yards, SO...
1) Auburn did better against FSU defense than Alabama defense (449 to 393)
2) Alabama offense did better against Auburn than FSU offense (495-385)
FACTS:
1) Alabama's offense was better against Auburn than FSU's offense
2) Alabama's defense was better against Auburn than FSU's defense.
If you don't understand that, then frick you....wait a minute....frick you regardless!

Looks like CoachCrisp has cracked the code, with that kind of insight why don't you go ahead and move to Vegas to begin your illustrious career as a professional sports gambler.

Based on your logic, LSU and MSU had the best defenses in the country last year. AU had at least 100 yards of passing that was left on the field during the IB. WRs were wide open all night. Bama was on the heels in the 4th Qrt, that is why Nick Saban tried a 57 yard FG. He did not want to go to OT.

Really?? All that coulda and woulda crap is just that..crap! And the reason that he tried the 57 yard field goal was because..listen closely...he was trying to win the fricking game..certainly he didn't want it to get to OT, dumbass!
One more thing for you and your family of butt-monkeys: Why did Auburn run 80 offensive plays against FSU and only 68 against Alabama? Get your heads together and get back to me.

Because Saban is a pussy and wants to slow the game down.

...and here I thought the game was all about points scored, but what really matters is yards. The gump spin machine is alive and well in you.

Those are real reasons, but you're gonna reach around and grab some type answer like that out of your arse..there's are reason y'all are called butt-monkeys!

I've got a golf game that will keep me occupied for a while, but that will give y'all time to get together and come up with some other witty retorts and deadend arguments for me....Have I told y'all lately how much I just love fricking with your delusional asses?...never change.

So you're saying that FSU put more pressure on the defense because the offense didn't perform as well as Alabama's. That makes their better ypp number even more impressive against Auburn. Leading all back to the fact that FSU's defense is better than Alabama's. You lose again.

I bet you suck at golf too.

Alabama's biggest problem on defense last year seemed to be 3rd down. They could not get off the field. Especially against AU and OU.
FSU had a great defense. Possibly the best in the country. Most Alabama fans understand that Bama will not be the best every year. We also understand we will be among the best every year.

Good thing you said "most" because it looks like one is trying to argue that they were better than the national champions.

Auburn had 5.78 yards per play against Alabama and 5.61 yards per play against FSU. Factually and subjectively FSU had a better defense than Alabama. Deal with it.
IIRC, Florida State's offense put their defense on their heels twice. Auburn benefited from two short fields. On the other hand, Alabama's defense didn't stay on the field too long. Furthermore, Alabama's offense didn't put the Crimson Tide defense in a poor spot.

Being national champs has nothing to do with it

Nobody is saying Auburn's D was stellar. Our D had holes. Your D had holes. FSU's D was the best all-around D in the nation.
I can understand why people would think Florida State's defense was the best, but I'd say it was Top 5 at worst, perhaps Top 3.
What was wrong with Stanford and Michigan State's defenses? The best rushing attack that Michigan State faced all season was shut down, caused some fireworks, then the shut down again. Florida State faced two strong running games that season. Versus Boston College they were missing starters essential to their run defense and were adjusting to Coach Pruitt's scheme, but that doesn't change the fact that Boston College scored 34 and ran for 200 yards. What's Florida State's excuse for giving up so many yards versus Auburn? Auburn left a long touchdown reception on the field, i.e. to say that Auburn could have had 500+ yards on Florida State.
Florida State's defense was better than anyone in the SEC's at the end of last season. Tell me why you consider Stanford and Michigan State's defenses to be inferior. Recall that Michigan State and Stanford can't just pick and choose SEC Caliber athletes like Florida State and the SEC elite. The programs aren't even on the same level. What Derek Mason and Pat Narduzzi did at Stanford and Michigan State, respectively, the past two seasons is impressive. What would those coaches do if their program had the resources, location, or history of Alabama, LSU, Florida, or Florida State?

It was. Not sure i've ever seen an SEC d as talented as that one.
I didn't grow up on football, but I've noticed some praise about the 2003 LSU, 2004 Auburn, and 2006 LSU defenses. Add 2011 Alabama and LSU to that list, and you'd tell me that 2013 Florida State was better than all of them?
