Hardly call it neutral. 430 miles from BR to Dallas and 990 from Madison. When one teams fans can drive and the other teams has to fly =/= neutral.

I am sure you were captain objective when Michigan flew down to jerryworld

Pretty much the only meaningful neutral site game a SEC team will ever play out of conference is the Rose Bowl.

Yeah, that or a venue like Lambeau.

Pasadena is nearly 2,000 miles away from SEC country. Doesn't that directly contradict your definition of a neutral site game

I didn't say it would always be neutral, but say if an SEC team played a Big 10 team at the Rose bowl it would be neutral.

If you have any more questions just ask and I will explain things to you.

LSU vs Wisconsin @ Lambeau is much more of a home field advantage than @ Houston.

That was a home game. But it wouldn't have mattered where we played it, could have played it on the moon and Michigan would have gotten rolled.

The SEC isn't lucky enough to rocket Bama and Saban to the moon and leave them

I took that as they know LSU is good, but think they can beat them. Wisky may have the best rb in the entire country, and they always have a good OL. I'm sure LSU fans can readily admit both of those.

I didn't see one comment there aside from the PSU/Iowa losses where I just shook my head. Wisky plays a lot of teams tough, but doesn't often win out in the 4th quarter over more talented teams.

I don't think you'll hear much arguing from the LSU side with that assessment. Wisconsin routinely puts linemen into the NFL. We did, however, hear over and over how Iowa's physical oline was going to push us around. Iowa ended up making Anthony Johnson look like Warren Sapp.

I just think we're very confident that we will beat Wisconsin doing what they're praised for: a really physical oline with big, talented backs

Now if Ms. State beats LSU, I can see the field being stormed as it should.

I fear what this board would look like if MSU stormed the field after beating us this year, IN Tiger Stadium.

Funny how LSU lost to inferior teams like PSU and Iowa yet this LSU team, half the team is was then is going to beat a UW team that MIGHT lose 2 games?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was Nick's last game here against Iowa. He had his bags packed and was already out the door. A Safety blitz when the other team has one play left for a Hail Mary is still one of the most puzzling calls ever. Well until last year.....

Penn St had 3 NFL linebackers and that game was played in a monsoon after the turf was recently replaced. That was the most extreme playing conditions for a bowl game in recent memory. Football or mudball. Watch the game and make your own decision. Penn St. was the better team that day and they played in the same conditions as LSU did. They deserved to win.
But speed was certainly negated that day.

None of that will be of any consequence with Wisconsin. Most LSU fans expect a great game and a game we better play well to have a chance to win. Wisconsin is an elite program and both schools need this win to have a chance at a special season most likely. Anyone from either school that thinks this will be a cakewalk is in for a surprise. It wont be much different in a cpl of years at Lambeau.

Cute

Seems like we've heard this sort of thing before from our game 1 OOC opponents, like every offseason.

I think it's going to be a lot like the TCU game last year. It's going to feel like LSU should be up by 30 but it will end up being close

You can thank the consecutive no PI calls by the refs in the endzone for that. Game should have been over in the first quarter.

Arkansas fans will live vicariously through Wisconsin during this game. The best chance of victory they have over LSU.

Doesn't Miles have a ridiculous stat like only 3 total nonconference losses in his entire tenure at LSU (ALL BOWL GAMES)?
