In all seriousness, I'm stoked about this hire. Martinez was good for the program his first year but plateaued quickly and never could get the DBs to the level they needed to be at and for the past two seasons they have been pathetic. I've seen our DBs in position to make the play tons of times yet failing to turn their heads or actually try to make a play on the ball. They were great at shadowing WRs but it seems that's all they did. That's bad coaching.

Also maybe LBs. I think Thigpen has burnt too many bridges in Mid-State to remain much longer. It's hurt us in recruiting and that's what he hung his hat on. We can't afford to keep a guy on staff who has pissed off a lot of people in our home state recruiting pool. Lord knows LBs haven't been as developed behind the main starters as they should've been.
