I'm curious as to what some of y'all think.

For Alabama it's pretty tough to say at this point. Depending on what happens in the playoffs there will definitely change how this team is viewed. It also depends on who all enters the NFL draft too. Some guys we know will enter the draft but there could be some key players like Eddie Jackson or Tim Williams that we don't know about yet. That could definitely change things as well.

For Alabama the potential is there for a really good offense. I think it's safe to say that Alabama is always going to have a strong run game at the very least. QB is an unknown at this point. I think Blake Barnett will probably start though it is definitely not decided yet. He is very talented but he hasn't had any playing time so we will have to wait and see. I've heard a lot of good things about him. He has the potential to be the best QB Saban has had at Bama. I am tempering my expectations though until I see him play several games. Whoever it is is surrounded by a ton of talent at WR and OL. I think we end up having a better offense with an improved passing game. There are some question marks right now about who is playing but the talent is there.

It is hard to imagine Bama having a better defense next year. I think they will be very good though. We should have a very good secondary. Especially with Pruitt coming in. Definitely losing a few up front but still very very talented and with real game time experience as well. I would expect someone like D. Hand or D. Payne or Tim Williams if he stays to really step up.

Special teams....Depends on if Adam Griffith stays. I heard something about him quitting to focus on academics? I'm not completely sure if thats true though. He had a bad start but has played well lately.

Well I can't judge, since every year we are expected to do poorly. It must be our year. Damn that feels good, don't it bitches. Tell me you like it...

Hard to say right now since we don't know who we're losing yet. But, QB play is the key for us now that BA is gone. A blindsided guess is we'll be better if our QB is even decent.

Teams with established QBs will be better and those with new QBs will be a crapshoot. The QB play this year in the league made average teams bad and bad teams horrible. Same problem next year.

VOLS should be even better next year returning 38/44 from the two deep with a stacked defense and the most dynamic backfield in tSEC.

In fact, I would say VOLS just might be your preseason favorites to win the league and maybe even the whole damn thing :eyesemoji:

SCAR will be greatly improved ... by leaps and bounds. If nothing more than from pure effort.

I expect to see the biggest improvement in their tackling and intensity on D.

We could be better and still have the same record.

Next season's schedule should be tougher.

Doesn't matter. LSU will still lose to teams with less talent.

Should have a pretty good defense again and the offense can't be any worse than it was this year (4th last out of 128). 6-6 or 7-5.

LSU should be better but you never know with them. I think Bama, Florida, LSU, and Tennessee will be the best teams next year. I think Auburn is a darkhorse next year

Losing VHIII is bad but he's been injured most of year so the change won't be severe plus secondary is pretty loaded.
Losing A-Mac hurts unless someone steps up. I'm inclined to think someone does. Losing Morrison is more of an issue. Defense should be very strong.
Surprised Taylor is leaving, he probably needs one more year to get a bit bigger. But the two frosh RB's are both very good.
QB will be better, way better, leaps and bounds better.
Oline will be better but don't know just how strong. This year's line has done a great job considering UF didn't really have an Oline when spring opened.
My biggest worry is replace McGee at TE. He's been incredibly solid this year. He's a very good TE. I think the younger guys will step it up, but he won't be easy to replace.

Some things are not lined up well for UF, like QB play should be better but it's still breaking in a new starter in the SEC which can be difficult. That said, the 2nd year of a new staff can often be a really big jump in performance.

I expect UF to be better.
