I'd rather slide down a 50 ft razorblade into a pool of alcohol than cheer for alabama! And screw all the talk of cheering for SEC! Bama winning another title wouldn't help tennessee or any other team in the sec except alabama! So I'll be cheering for anybody BUT alabama...

I'm pulling for Texas, but not out of hatred for Bama. Earlier in the year, I had picked them as the NC and McCoy with the heisman, and I think I lost the heisman pick, so I'd still like to have some bragging rights.
That said, I have a newfound respect for Alabama after today, and I was pulling for them. Rooting for Florida goes against everything I know as right.
Still, my team's conference owning the last 4 national championships......

How does playing 2nd fiddle in the SEC West for the foreseeable future make for a stronger LSU? I'm sure it will make for a stronger LSU when top La recruits start signing with Alabama?
Alabama and Nick Saban winning a NC is bad for everyone in the SEC West but Alabama. If you are rooting for Alabama, you are rooting for LSU to return/remain in 2nd tier status. You can chant SEC, the Gumps will be chanting RTR.

I didn't think I'd be able to root for Bama, but I was actually finding myself rooting for them today against UF.
So no doubt I'll be rooting for them big-time against Tejas.

I will be rooting for the SEC. I grew up a Texas fan and I still hate Bama. So I guess I will be happy either way. But I do want the SEC to win 4 in a row. Hopefully over the next month I can prepare for this game and figure out how to enjoy it.
