Yes, I'll be rooting for the SEC - I live in Texas and wouldn't be able to stomach a Longhorn victory over the SEC. We'd never hear the end of it on the sports talk shows.

after that bullshite texas just pulled off, i hope bama stomps them.
i honestly didn't care who won today when it started and was just going to enjoy the game. but as the 2nd half wore i was hoping bama was going to run up the score just to watch tebow and meyer on the sideline. so yea go bama.

A strong SEC makes for a stronger LSU..
If your school can't be there, pray a big rival is..it only elevates your game.

This thread surprises me. I thought most people rooted for their conference in the bowl. I HATE Tennessee, but I'll be pulling for them to win their bowl game.
It's kinda like having a brother that you hate, and you want to beat his arse every time you get the chance. But, when someone else goes to pick a fight with him you back his dumb, one-tooth havin, orange wearin, hillbilly arse up.

Yep.
SEC first, even with UA.
But I do that knowing I will see flags flying from pickup trucks forever.....it would be easier if just the alumni were who you had to deal with when you live here.

First time in my life I will root against SEC team in championship game.
Sick of Bama and I think a win by them really puts a dent in future recruiting efforts by LSU. This is of course assuming Saban sticks around and that is a HUGE assumption.
