Will UGA be good enough to challenge LSU or Bama this year?

They return a lot and they have a deep and talented roster. Can Richt get it done and does everyone agree that they are set up for a perfect championship run? I'm a believer in their defense.

UGA is the only team, IMO, in the east that has a chance to beat Bamma and/or LSU. They are deep with returning players. They played LSU prety damn hard in the SECCG until the second half. If/when they get the stamina to play a full game they will be tough to beat.

If we establish a running game and finally gel on the offensive line, possibly. LSU will be tough for anyone to beat though.

Possibly, UGA certainly has the potential, but I don’t think they live up to it

Maybe Bama. If you can't beat the JJ led LSU football team, you certainly aren't beating the 2012 version.

+1

Bama's offense showed flashes at the end of the year and Mettenberger will open up LSU's offense.

Its going to take a complete game with a little luck and maybe some accumulating Bama/LSU injuries.

No. Who would LSU or Bama folks rather play this year- USC or UGA?

I would rather play South Carolina actually, which we already do. UGA is a scarier team and more capable of beating us than South Carolina IMO.

Not going to happen...GA is soft, they are a dog with a loud bark but no significant bite.

They say this stuff every year. In my opinion GA is the ARKY of the east.

I disagree. They're a good football team with an experienced quarterback, solid talent, and an improving defense under Grantham. Richt is a bit of an underachiever, but his real problem is Bobo and his loyalty. Not saying after last season changing coordinators, all things considered, would have been the best decision for a team that will contend for the SEC title this year, but he's a liability for them.
