Not with a 10 million dollar buyout. Mike Gundy is next up in Gainesville

I wonder if that reporter he called out for wearing a Florida hat is still there. That would be awkward.

If you want 2 years of excellence followed by a dumpster fire that can meltdown the entire fanbase? go right ahead.

Nope. Buyout for LOU and UF is already paying Muschamp's. George O'Leary would be a nice sleeper pick

There were rumors at the beginning of the year that O'Leary was thinking of retirement. The only older coaches I could see them going after is Spurrier and Cutcliffe and that's even a stretch.

Spurrier and Cutcliffe? You're out of your mind.

Two UF updates from Football scoop

Florida: Sources tell us that Marshall head coach Doc Holliday is very much a candidate for the head coaching vacancy at Florida. Holliday has served as head coach at Marshall for the past five seasons. From 2005-2007 he was on Urban Meyer’s staff at Florida serving as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. Holliday went on to join the staff at West Virginia where he served two years as associate head coach before being named head coach at Marshall following the 2009 season. Holliday won 10 games at Marshall last season and currently has his team 10-0.

Florida: Adam Schefter reported at halftime of Monday Night Football that Mike Shanahan is not interested in coaching college football at this time.

I understand that, but he is also successful at pretty much all stops, except ATL where he left his sweet love note to the team

Makes sense. Can coach defense and offense. Former Florida guy. Good coach.
