And his competition has been pure shite. I went a little overboard with my original post but its just bc I know a lot of state fans who keep acting like he is one of the best in the SEC and its getting old and I just don't see it Time will tell, as always I could be wrong

Well honestly he doesn't have the receivers UT does. Last night we dropped a total of 7 passes (like hit in the hands and absolutely just dropped). But he generally doesn't make bad throws, his td-int ratio is very reflective of that.

just simply not true but whatever you would like to think

And oh yeah our records mean a lot since the three opponents our respective teams have played are so comparable

Also I have yet to be convinced Tyler Russell can accurately wipe his own arse

Russell has been on the money.

Receivers dropped a lot of passes last night. He should have been 20 for 26 and at least 2 more TDs.

MSU played sloppy last night, it was a trap game and we weren't excited for it on top of very vanilla play calling and the scrubs being in the game way to early.

I love UT fans who haven't watched Bray play without those orange glasses on. How many picks will he throw in SEC play this year? I'm going with 8 and that is probably conservative.

0 INT's is 0 INT's no matter who you play.

You can tell a good QB by how he handles pressure and how he makes his throws regardless of competition. He showed a lot of positives in the Auburn game.

Also, who has Bray beaten that was worth a shite?

And just what exactly did I say in here about Bray being any good? All I said was I am more confident about our chances of beating State

In what aspect do you think Tennessee is better at than State?

We have the better defense and the better running game, and better line on both sides. That is what wins games in the SEC, as Florida just showed you.

Ya'll have a better QB and more talent at WR. But we have a good QB and good receiving group. Overall, we have the better team, ya'll are one dimensional.

We will not beat MSU. Whether we're better or not. A little adversity and we will hand you the game.

Guess I didn't do a good job of explaining my opinion. Before yesterday I flat out said state would beat us now I see it more as a toss up game.

And volfan is right throw in some adversity and we ll probably fold. Guess I'm just being optimistic that we will improve (Gasp!) in that area as the season progresses

Reason I think we win that game is

1. It's in Starkville and we always play good at home. LSU and Bama both had trouble with us last year until the 4th quarter and depth got to us.

2. We'll have aggressive D, blitzing to put pressure on Bray and letting our talented secondary make a play on a bad pass.

3. Ya'll don't have a very good defense and we should score enough to win.

Our defense isn't as bad as it looked yesterday the problem IMO and many others was conditioning which can easily be corrected in time for the state game. Will it? Sadly probably not
