Will the ACT fraud issues spread to the other teams?

I know that ULL and now Ole Miss are both getting hammered by the NCAA for the testing center in waynesboro. Does anyone think this is a trend and the NCAA will go after the other SEC schools that used waynesboro? I know Alonzo Lawrence qualified there for Alabama and Thames and Dixon for Mississippi State. Not sure about others but is anyone concerned?

No... Only Ole Miss, ULL and possibly SMU.

I think it will make the NCAA a bit more cautious with scores that are flagged. When this whole thing started we had a player who'd already been approved and admitted. NCAA said everything was ok but then turned around and flagged his ACT score and he had to take it again in front of their officials. FWIW, he passed but he missed a LOT of practice time because he couldn't participate while he was waiting on the NCAA.

If they get hard evidence on other schools, then, yeah they will go after them. Hopefully those schools won't have assistant coaches dumb enough to lie about it, and call other witnesses to ask them to lie.

I'm not sure Alabama or MSU had someone on staff coordinating with the testing site proctor at Waynesboro to alter the test answers of Lawrence/Thames/Dixon. Has the NCAA found someone on the UA/MSU staff that organized the same kind of academic fraud that Saunders administered for OleMiss?

Alonzo Lawrence

Never sat foot on the field at Bama or any other D-1 program.

If it turns out he cheated on the ACT (and it would not surprise me as he appears to have been something of a dumbass) there is little to no exposure unless a member of the staff had the same deal as the ULL/OM guy.

Didn't the coach responsible go to Texas? I think they had several kids recruits from Florida that were flagged for unusual test scores.

Sometimes I get the feeling the NCAA doesn't want to know about anything unless they are put in a position where they have to do something.

I guess we would probably know by now if another SEC school was being investigated. They already have Davis Saunders and know who he helped. This was widespread at one point.

Then it stands to reason more schools would be implicated, right?
