Never said they were but you should know more about how narcotic charges work. Have a brother who works narcotics and charges can be different if the bust came from government fundings and not local funding provided by the PD. Either way I don't care other than their actions were stupid.

He will be forgiven. Life is like that. He is just a victim.

He's gone. If Saban doesn't do it, he'll never live it down. Heck, try explaining to a recruit's mother--who is asking whether you'll take care of her son--why you let a drug-using, stolen-gun-toting player stay on the team. No bueno.

He won't be able to play while in jail for one year. It won't matter what Saban thinks.
Possession of a stolen weapon is a class C felony; most always reduced to a misdemeanor, especially for a first-time offenders; a fine and probation; no jail time.
How Louisianna will handle this remains to be seen.

Hopefully the same way a bama DA would handle a Leonard Fournette arrest

We don't hate LSU, hold a grudge, or have any reason to consider Fournette a threat on the football field. Not really a fair comparison

Nah. Gun ain't stolen anymore. It's from Baldwin county, Alabama. Owner let him borrow it of course.

What would it take to raise the reaction to "highly perturbed".

Stolen gun taken across state lines. Cam Robinson will not suit up again until he's in the NFL.

It really depends on the Ouachita Parish DA, and what team he is a fan of.

Jerry is LSU law and a pretty big fan. Pretty reasonable on small time drug offenses, harsh on stolen guns.

Hmmmmm. Is this an election year?

He ran unopposed in 2014 for his 5th consecutive four year term.

Well, sound's like these kids are screwed. Hopefully he will take into account that kids-especially those that play football (I was one myself)-are knuckleheads and let them off easy. I really have no dog in this fight, other than to say I don't like seeing lives ruined at such a young age.

Will Saban kick Cam Robinson off the team?
No, Cam will be the team captain and receive an award for team leadership.
