Sort of a spinoff thread.

I say yes.

If we define success by conference wins and prestigious bowl appearances.

Then Petrino > Bret

Seriously, that was a good one. I'm even upvoting it.

If we're being fair, Petrino had greater success at Louisville then he did at Arkansas.

Petrino had more SEC wins in his first year at Louisville than Bert did in his first year at Arky

I admit it's unfair for Bret since he has to win in the toughest division in football

Well, I think it is harder to win a BCS bowl at Louisville then it is to win one in multiple shots at Wisconsin. Based on current resume, I think Petrino is better, but the margin is small.

Easily. Bert won't even come close to at Arkansas to the succes Petrino had at Arkansas.

Legit question. Even though he's a frickhead, Petrino is the better coach.

Can Louisville win the ACC with an 8-5 season?

when will aggies admit sherm was better than sumlin?

when can we just outright say sumlin sucks and the only reason he's had any success at a&m is because he let jff take the ball and do whatever the heck he wanted to with it?

You guys should have hired him, then. Not sure why you keep settling for our sloppy leftovers, when you could have had Bobby MF Petrino?

Same goes for the rest of you. Why hasn't anyone hired him?

Bert has the unfortunate experience of coaching in the SEC west. If they were coaching in the same division, I'd take Bert if for no other reason than all the players kicked off other teams Petrino is currently taking will eventually backfire.

Playcaller...I haven't seen another one better.

CEO - He sucked balls because he was a big douche

double-edged sword

I like what CBB is doing

Hell, Petrino could be at Auburn in 3 years for all we know...that's a bunch of different threads though

If you want to start your own thread with concrete facts I would be happy to discuss
