than you should've left out the dumb comment

What's that?

It was going to be brought up at some point, so I went ahead and mentioned OL play in the OP. It is no secret that it is the one true question mark. I think between Buchanan and Kelly, the QB play could be manageable. An excellent defense might just be enough.

Thanks for posting a .gif of a future transfer QB. Your contribution to the thread is appreciated.

Are you referring to the one drive that LSU had all night and it was because RN was hurt and off the field until the last 2 plays?

I think he's referring to the fact that LSU running backs averaged 5.2 yards per carry over the course of the entire game.

Not trying to toll here...but what is changing about your defense that makes you think you won't get steamrolled by Bert's O-Line again? I mean...even detractors agree that Arkansas's O-Line and RBs are BETTER than last year. They stump broke Ole Miss's front 7 last year.

I'm just curious as to whether you think playing in Oxford gives you a 24 point advantage (I'm being fair and taking the 100 yard pick 6 off the defense)or whether you think someone waved a magic wand and made the same players that got arse raped last year better?

It's too difficult to separate the two. We have no idea how good your offense will be because of the two big question marks.

Your defense will be very good, but there is no way to know if it will be enough to make up for what could potentially be a bad at times offense.

I think with an average consistent (consistent being key) offense you could challenge for the West. Your OL is extremely thin for a coach in his 4th season and it seems like teams under Freeze so far have a tendency to have big hiccups and just go scoreless.

LSU got all 246 yards on one drive? Interesting.

OM's run D was good last year, but the weakness was right up the middle. I'm asking if that issue has been addressed with some depth. If not, you will see a similar end to the season you saw in 2014.

You make a valid argument, and I honestly don't know. That game last year was all kinds of weird. The weather sucked. Bo was ailing. RB was thrown to the wolves, and Arky was playing really good football. As the season progress, you could have a similar situation that favors OM. You just never know. That 30-0 pummeling can't be solely placed on the defense. For whatever reason, maybe it was Arky's exceptional defense, maybe it was a combination of different things, but that loss was on our offense. I refuse to blame the D for playing uninspired football knowing the offense wasn't going to do jack shite.

Breeland Speaks
DJ Jones

In theory, yes. Speaks is a manchild, and DJ is the strongest dude on the team.

Our line will be able to matchup with the power teams better because we have a heavy set(for lack of a better term) that doesn't include our Rush ends who were a big liability against the run. Our LBs are also more versatile with CJ moving back.

Really strange how the weather was only bad on one sideline (it was just cold...are your players really THAT big of pussies?)

Allen was hurt just as bad...so I guess we scratch that excuse also. Granted our backup (his little brother) played better than yours).

Your RB was thrown to the wolves because your o-line can't block our d-line.

Again...don't be delusional. It'll be easier if you just grab your own ankles and ensure plenty of lube has been applied. Bert's comin.

As long as there is enough depth to keep these guys healthy for the back end then OM's D will be good enough to compete.
