No decent BCS team has had to load up on a bunch of cupcakes to get to 24 wins, either.

Ole Miss has just two top-50 wins (both Missouri) with losses to three of the four worst teams in the SEC. Their two best non-conference opponents were Middle Tennessee and Indiana St., and they lost to both of them.

Ole Miss has 25 wins because of one of the softest OOC schedules I've ever seen. Their resume is pathetic.

I want Ole Miss to get in b/c of league affiliation, but in no way do they deserve it.

Dough Gottlieb is a douche and doesn't deserve to have an opinion on anything.

Indiana St., my bad.

Point still stands. Based on the resume, Ole Miss isn't a tournament team.

Yes they are.

2-3 vs. the Top 50 is acceptable. 8-6 record vs. the Top 100 is good. RPI is solid. They do have two bad losses, but a lot of bubble teams have more bad losses than they do. Overall record is very good (25 wins).

The one problem I have with their resume is their non-conference schedule, but I think they'll be fine. You can poke holes in every bubble team's resume... That's why they're bubble teams.

In other Auburn news...

The AU Tigers are the worst SEC tournament team of alltime with a record of 27-50... The hits just keep on coming.

Texas A&M would be a 3rd bad loss, but yeah, every bubble team has bad losses. I just can't get past their OOC schedule, and I don't know if the committee will be able to, either. No excuse for a non-conference slate like that.

I think the committee is going to look beyond those 25 wins on the surface and look at who Ole Miss played, and they didn't play hardly anybody. Just not a whole lot of quality wins.

I really hope your opinion doesn't influence the selection committee.

After tomorrow we will have played 15 games against top 100 RPI teams... We will have a winning record in those games... I think that's the stat that gets us in
