I'll be rooting for Ole Miss, but I'm fairly confident they are going to lose. A couple decent recruits won't be enough, I'm afraid.

I was going to root for Ole Miss as well, but my conference pride is waning rapidly.

I think it will be competitive for most of the game but we are just way too thin to compete with their depth... A late TD by the Horns puts us away

TX wins 38-24

Ole Miss will be too worried about the SEC schedule while this is the toughest game for the buttfrickers. And they are practically masturbating on themselves for anything at all meaningful they can point to that proves they are still #1 in Texas. It doesn't look good for Ole Miss, but I am rooting like hell.

It's pretty obvious who Texas has been embarrassing for well over a century

Yeah, texas ran up most of that record against a small military college who shipped most of their students off to war

Ole Miss refers to this period of American history as 'The Good 'Ol Days.'

I call dibs on starting the "things that have happened since Ole Miss last won the SEC in football" thread this fall.

I can honestly say that since we hosted both in Oxford last year... TEXAS > A&M
- Fan Support
- Appearance of Fans
- Classiness

Not trying to flame, but that opinion isn't surprising coming from an ole miss fan. Y'all and the sips are cut from the same cloth.

I remember this thread from last year.

Specifically, I recall posting pictures of Michael Jackson through the years as his skin changed color from midnight to high noon.

I disagree. Both Texas fan bases were weird as frick. Texas had these dudes wearing jean shorts and wife beaters. They kept Bevo or something. Aggie speaks for itself.

Both are better than TT though

I thought the picture of Neil Armstrong walking on the moon was a nice touch.

I hope not but as a Gator fan I don't feel like I'm currently well situated to talk about embarrassing the conference by losing OOC. God I can't wait for the season to wash that stink off.

It'll go away with time. Happens to someone in the conference every bowl season it seems. Someone doesn't want to be there, etc.

But with regard to Ole Miss and MSU beating Texas and OKie State, I honestly hope they both do. They need to IMHO.

No, we WERE The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.

As of 1963, we are Texas A&M University. The A&M was maintained to provide a link with the heritage of the school, but technically the letters A and M aren't short for anything anymore.

Last time I checked, we are the sole member of the SEC from the state of Texas and represent the entire state, not just the "Sliver of East Texas" that can see the longhorn network.
