I would like to think so but y'all are probably gonna lose. Honestly, y'all didnt even beat SE Missouri State by 3 TDs and southland conference SE Louisiana beat them 45-7. It's a new week but playing at UT is not an easy place to win in.
We went up 30 points in the 1st Quarter on them and took out our first team.
We then proceeded to play the 2nd & 3rd teams ... hell even a walk on QB played a few series.
That score line doesn't tell the whole story.

this is why ole miss is in a lose- lose situation,
lose lose on this board because its full of retarded trolls. It's a win win in real life. We are playing with house money.

Texas got trounced by BYU because they couldnt tackle. Why couldnt they tackle? Because BYU ran 59 in the first half alone in that high elevation. 99 plays total. BYU would have beaten a lot of teams that night.

I don't think y'all would be the worst ever. That is a little strong. Texas had been weak of late but I wouldn't count them out in most games. It would be good for the SEC if the Rebs can pull it off.

I've said it in the other 300 threads on this subject
The worst thing for ole miss was the BYU beatdown, JMO

Chicken or Egg problem there. I could easily argue that BYU ran 59 plays in the first half because Texas couldn't tackle.
Texas got dominated on both sides of the ball in the trenches. It's why they lost. Their defensive strategy of running out of the nickel was also very suspect.

Stop hedging. BYU lost to UVA who got blasted by Oregon. There's no excuse for Ole Miss to lose to Texas. None. It's not a lose-lose but it's a game Ole Miss should now win.

Texas is going to stomp OM...and turn the season around just enough to give ole Mack another season

Ole Miss will win-----I think Ole Miss is actually putting together a very good program and will pull a surprise or two this year. The Texas win, however, will not be a surprise. I think the Rebs win big.

I said "that night" as in Provo. They played their running QB at home where the altitude plays to their advantage with their HUNH offense. Do you really think Texas is worse than Virginia? If not then STFU
Im hedging when Vegas thinks Texas wins? This board is full tard when LSU is good. All off season there is a thread a day started by LSU fans about OM having too high expectations (7 wins) and now we are hedging when we think we wont win in Austin.

Not really sure what to expect from this game.
Wouldn't surprise me if Texas rebounds...also wouldn't surprise me if Texas falls apart the rest of the way.
Interested to see what happens in this one.

Texas practiced using elevation masks to prepare for the game. The altitude had less to do with the loss than being physically dominated on both fronts and a poor choice to play out of nickel when you're getting gashed up front.
I think Virginia would have destroyed last Saturday's Texas team. So, like I said.. stop hedging.

What does last Saturday's Texas team have to do with anything? If OM played last Saturday's Texas team, yeah we win. How are you not saying the same thing I am if you're using "Last Saturday's Texas team"? Do you think Virginia could go into Austin this week and win? If so then thats your opinion, if not then we are on the same page and we are both "hedging". Hedging is all apart of being an OM fan. We cant expect good things to happen because they rarely do.

If you think Ole Miss won't win in Austin after the BYU game Saturday and the following dismissal of the DC yesterday then you're either hedging or you have no chest.
