With all the new money coming into the SEC because it helps programs like UM, MSU, and Vandy more than Florida or bama. State won 9 games recently and have played in the SECCG once which is more than UM can say.

Would we ever replace Bama or LSU....he'll no, but we can hope to maintain 7-9 win seasons and hope we can spring up for 10 in a year where the bama and tiger nation are down. Recently the budget at state is higher than Ole Miss and the stadium will soon be larger when the expansion is done.

A couple of our assistants have been hired for better jobs and that is what causes a lot of issues recruiting. We can't or aren't paying assistants what FSU, Texas, and Clemson are paying. Playing in the Sec west means nationally you can be a top 20 team talent wise and 7-5 on the record book. He'll you can probably be top 10 talent and 8-4

Seriously, we will crush you this year. Idk why next year would be any different. We are grossly out recruiting you.

I can tell you from experience Arky fans won't see that as a valid argument.

Same could be said to South Carolina but look at them now. And state of Mississippi produces more talent than South Carolina.

And MSU has better facilities than South Carolina:

Yeah, it would take us having a pretty good squad and Bama and LSU to be down. You know like in 1998 when the stars aligned.

I think the main reason USC is doing well is b/c UT sucks, Florida is about average, and UGA is just being UGA.

So you're saying we should transfer to the East?

Wow so MSU can pay players and they still don't want to play there.

Meanwhile, our players get offered $1.4 to go play for the sox and turns it down to come to Ole Miss.
