It's always a cripple fight between the Bears and the Dawgs. Like watching a train wreck. MSU surprises and upsets the Bears this year.

Name a coach from State who went on to a better or equal job after leaving MSU? It is the very definition of a coach's graveyard. If you want to kill your career, go to Mississippi State. They don't even have a "stepping stone" program going for them. Most of our recent coaches went onto to equal paying jobs and did something. Can't say the same for State. Our worst case right now is our coach being bought out, and no one has given Mullen a second thought (or first for that matter). Mullen came to State counting on it being a stepping stone, but like every coach before him, he's burying his career at that school. Should have stuck around in Florida for another year.
