I think Kiffin will want to exploit this perceived weakness, but the o line will have to give Coker time.
Kiffin throwing the ball too much, color me shocked. If this is really the game plan, I think it works out in our favor.
Not hating but I don't understand why Kiffin wants to throw so much.

I just don't see why LSU fans are so high on Harris. He has only thrown 75 passes all season. Who knows what he'll do when he is hit hard and has hands in his face? This will be his biggest test of the season.
If the Broncos can disrupt Aaron Rogers's game, I can see Harris getting a little rattled when Bama's front seven get to him.

Coker is going to be able to run on you guys in chunks if your dline gets too aggressive. Ridley is cooper-esque. We are going to have success
Dak couldn't run on us.
Now Ridley is Amari Cooper?

Can't argue with that.

The competitive difference between Harris and Bama's secondary is larger than Coker and LSU's secondary.
That's just flat out not true
I don't think you've watched Coker the last few games. That kid has become a tough SOB and a very good passer of the ball. And you can put the entire team on his back. Harris doesn't have that experience yet. Then there's Bama's secondary which is the best since our 2011 team. But the best part of our pass defense is probably our pass rush. We have the best pass rush I've seen while Saban's been here.
And LSU's 2015 secondary looks like Bama's 2014 secondary. Constantly missing assingments. And that's not easy to fix. Coker will have a field day if our OL gives him time.

LSU’s pass defense is ranked ninth in the SEC and is allowing an average of 222.1 passing yards per game.
LOL silly Bammer looking at raw data instead of digging just a bit deeper. LSU is 5th in the SEC ypa defense and is tied for 2nd in opponents attempts per game.
Miss St threw it 54 times, Syracuse 38 times, South Carolina 30 times, UF 32 times, and WKU 61 times.
Of course we are going to give up a lot of yards when teams are throwing it 37 times, Bama's pass D is better, but not by much. When Mills comes back we'll have the leader of our defense that we lost in the preseason. LSU will get better.

and only 3 or 4 teams have had more passes attempted against them than Alabama, lsu not being one of them

Imagine what the LSU defense would look like if the secondary had a break out game.

Something tells me that there are a lot of Bama fans that haven't watched many LSU games this year. I hope Bama's secondary is underrating Harris as much their fans.
I think most Bama fans would agree that Harris is a good QB.
But you guys are talking about Coker like he is chopped liver.

Will LSU's secondary be the team's Achille's heel? by GregAl
Should be a good one.

Dak was held in check for the first half, but he's the most dangerous QB in the country. He definitely got his in the 2nd.
...and how many long gains did we have called back in that game?

What does this have to do with Dak having a great second half?
I'll answer that for you. Nothing.

Lsu will win this game. Mark it down. We are the better team.

It's not the youth making mistakes guys. Tolliver has been a shut down corner. It's between Rickey and Dwayne Thomas. Thomas is a bum

Literally everyone in BR is confused as to why the secondary is struggling so much. We know what's happening but we don't know how. We have a great DB coach and great recruits and somehow communication errors are leading to bad coverage busts
