No way. LSU has great talent in the state. I do not think LSU will be out of the top 10 anytime soon.

if miles and wilson both leave for the same program that is close to la. then LSU will suffer because miles and wilson will get some of the la. talent every year. they already have a huge start on 2015, 2016 and a new coach is playing serious catchup.

The question seems moot... I don't see Miles leaving anytime soon.

Isn't about time they....declined?

Why are you asking a question about LSU's decline when this has already by established this offseason.

On the Chinese Calendar, 2013 is the Year of the Snake. But for the SECR, it's the Year of the Declining Tiger.

Louisiana is a talent rich state with no in state competition. It can also easily pull in TX recruits. Talent will help LSU to stay on top. The big thing that helped bring LSU to the top was keeping the large majority of elite LA level talent in state.

If LA keeps producing all this instate talent like it has lately then it doesn't matter who our coach is.....that isn't going to change anytime soon, so yeah.... SEC fricked for a very, very long time to come

hey, remember that time all of the Auburn fans on here tried to convince everyone that Gene Chizik was a good head coach?

1. He gets a better coaching job (meh) 2. the program faulters for a couple of seasons and they decide its time for a coaching change (much more likely if you ask me)

What about him finishing out his current/future contract and hanging it up? So i would say there are 3 options here. Looking at college football history, # 2 seems most likely but you cannot always look in the past to see the future. I hope it is my # 3. Not hoping for a coach-in-waiting because i think that is BS but i look forward to many years of Les being in Baton Rouge.

More likely that he is fired before retirement? Come on brah.

Seems to be a common sentiment that Alabama will trail off once Saban leaves. If that's true, then if Miles leaves, does LSU trail off as well?

Anybody can win at LSU, because we're the only big school in the state. All the best in-state recruits come here automatically. Any coach in the country can win 11 games a year here.

Miles will leave the LSU program in much better shape than what he found it in

Because LSU's program was so down when Miles took over.

Not sure, Les is one of the best cheaters out there...but he is also a complete dumbass. A really really dumb man. Just too tough to call with any degree of confidence imo.
