8-4 in 2015 = One more year. If 2016 concludes and he has another four loss season he will be fired. This is the only reason y'all got Chavis, the fear of another Fulmer.

No. He can have an 8-5 season every once in a while, but if he has 3 8-5 seasons in a row he is gone.

It's super cute that y'all think you're getting to 8 wins this year.

8-5 this year would mean 16 losses over current four year period. He'd be released.

I think he wil be fine. The last time Miles won 8 games, he won 9, 11, and 13 in the three successive seasons after that. Pretty good track record....

If lsu goes never wins less than 8 games a year for the entire 21st century it will be the greatest achievement in team sport history.

Its what got Tubberville fired

Makes you wonder if Miles would be feeling any heat if he didn't win his title through the backdoor in 2007

He recruits well but come on its LSU lots of instate talent so it's not hard to recruit to LSU

I will say this A&M fans are perfectly fine with 8-5 seasons as they have made it clear that care more about recruiting than the actual season. A&M's Super Bowl is national signing day. Who cares about the actual games.

Les Miles doesn't plan on coaching as long as Paterno did. He is 61 years old and wants to spend quality family time before his time on the planet is done.

He might coach a few more years, but he isn't going to stay for another decade and isn't going to get fired.

He will get plenty of heat if he can't develop a passing attack that at least puts stress on a defense.

Lobotomy, Slocum has the hardware in the SWC/Big 12 and Sumlin doesn't in a major conference.

Nice hook.

2015 and 2016 are guaranteed for miles. Unless he has a season like Bert and wins 2 conference games. LSU is loaded up for the next two years. He has "his" guy running the offense with two returning QB's and there is enough talent on D that even "Malveto" would have a hard time screwing it up.

If LSU doesn't win in Atlanta by 2016, I think Miles will start the process of stepping down.

I'm confused by this. Cam Cameron's been there since 2013, so he's already had "his" guy running the offense, hasn't he?

They won't get rid of him and it's great for the rest of the SEC. Les is like Fran at A&M, keeps beating rivals to save his job, but not doing much else. I hope he stays around for a long time.

I don't see any coach being like joe pa anymore. If you're going 8-5 8/10 years and 10-2 or 11-1 the other two you won't have a job in today's sec at a big 6 program

Dan Mullen will be the modern this

It took Slocum 10 years to win his only major conference title.

I seriously doubt any a&m fan likes seeing Miles on the other sideline.
Also Miles has been more successful at lsu than any A&m coach ever.
