Miss St: MSU lost a lost off last year's team and may be severely challenged on offense. If UK can stop the run they win, a big "if."

Probably not, but I guarantee if there is they'll be started by Arkansas fans. Don't ask me why, and don't act like it isn't true.

If...

Kentucky gets as better as I expect them to get...

LTU - W
Scar - W
Florida* - W
Mizzou - L
EKU - W
Auburn - L
Miss St** - L
Tenn - L
UGA*** - L
Vandy - W
Charlotte - W
Louisville**** - W

Prediction - 7-5 (bowl bound!)

* - Florida is winnable if and only if the Florida offense decides to be as lackluster this year as they've been recently. If Florida steps it up, then Kentucky's chances of winning this one decrease exponentially.

** - Mississippi State confuses me. Did they just have a good year or are they starting to become an actual contender? We will see this year.

*** - UGA is the better team. Period. But I just have this gut feeling that if there were any team to get majorly upset by Kentucky this year, Georgia would be that team.

**** - Rivalry games are weird. One team could be 0-11 and the other could be #1 and undefeated but it could still be an extremely close game. This game could go either way.

If...

Kentucky does NOT get as good as I expect them to

LTU - W
Scar - L
Florida - L
Mizzou - L
EKU - W
Auburn - L
Miss St - L
Tenn - L
UGA* - L
Vandy - W
Charlotte - W
Louisville - W

5-7

* - Keep your eyes peeled. Kentucky vs Georgia has upset written all over it. Just FEELS that way.

The part about this schedule I don't like is that its very flip floppy. Most of these games could go either way, and those games decide whether Kentucky plays in a big bowl or has to buy tickets to watch UofL play in a bowl.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying but even in our worst years, the fanatic in me just can't predict a loss to little bro.

that's not exactly a tough place to play.

I think the last few years of Rich Brooks' tenure proved that the Kentucky fan base will show up in full force when there is a solid product on the field. When you consider how awful UK football has been as of late, it's actually pretty remarkable the amount of fans that have shown up every week.

But even if (by some miracle) UK manages to build a solid football team over the next few years, does that mean that Commonwealth will be really loud and intimidating for opponents to play in? Who knows. I honestly just want a season that goes well enough to find out.

Why would any self respecting UK fan go to a Louisville bowl game?

W: @Carolina
W: Florida
W: Mizzou
W: Eastern Kentucky
L: Auburn
W: @State
L: Tennessee
L: @Georgia
W: @Vandy
W: Charlotte
W: Louisville

Worst Case

W: Louisiana
L: @Carolina
L: Florida
L: Mizzou
W: Eastern Kentucky
L: Auburn
L: @State
L: Tennessee
L: @Georgia
W: @Vandy
W: Charlotte
L: Louisville

My pick
W: Louisiana
W: @Carolina
W: Florida
L: Mizzou

Regardless, they make it to 7 wins this year.

Must win game against Louisville this weekend. Can Stoops do the impossible and get Kentucky to a bowl?
