Twice since 88.

State has tripled that amount, since then.

Dan Mullen wins over teams which finished the season ranked in the AP poll
2009 Ole Miss

Dan Mullen wins over FBS teams which finished a season with nine-plus wins
2009 Ole Miss
2009 Middle Tennessee State
2013 Bowling Green
2013 Rice

That 2009 MTSU squad was one for the ages

Actually 4-1. You're right OM shouldn't be listed in the above mentioned teams.

I stand corrected my STATE friend. OP fans are such easy targets. They just need to print and smack talk to make themselves feel good about 'That School From Da North' (Classic I must say).

If it was an engie alter, it would have waited until Smitherman's turn on the A-List in the next couple of days. Then it would have posed the question "Is Mississippi State recruiting Alabama better than Ole Miss is recruiting Mississippi?" Thread has potential. I may make it anyway.

This is their year, imo. I think they could win the SEC with a little luck.

It was a 10-point game in the 4th quarter last year.

We've beaten Bama more than once this century. So, no.

Those two wins were against two of the worst two Bama teams in recent history. You talk about wins over big programs like OM is used to doing this. Since the expansion and division split in 92, MSU has more wins and/or a better winning percentage against Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and the same against UF. OM has only done better against LSU, Arky, and USC. Both have sucked arse against UGa. OM is 3-12 while MSU is 1-7, but OM has a tad higher winning percentage. We've beaten LSU once since expansion, while you've beaten Bama twice. Clean up in your own backyard.

Ole Miss is not a big win. And MSU goes 1-2 v. aTm, LSU, and AU. Mullen has never played Alabama close since he got to MSU.

Why didn't you just say you think they might beat aTm because you know darn well they won't defeat either of the Tigers.

So do your wins over us when we had our worst teams in history not count?
