Will Butch Jones be fired in 2016?

Their schedule is pretty tough, playing VT week 2. Everyone knows Butch's track record of losing to out of conference P5 schools in the regular Season, nobody is giving first year coach Fuente a shot in hell at winning this one, which is crazy. The guy already beat the best old miss team in decades with Memphis. This is going to be a nail biter and if the vols end up on the wrong side of the coin, look for butch jones' seat to warm up. His track record of playing tight, not to lose football is sure to rear its ugly head in conference play too, which will be tough this year w/ uf, UGA, Tamu and Bama all in consecutive weeks. There's no question that they are the favorite to win the east and should be. UGA has a first year coach and more than likely will be starting a true freshman quarterback, and the way UF finished 2015 left a ton be desired, with a huge question mark at quarterback to boot. Maybe it's finally the year the SEC rids itself of the butch lesbian.

Their schedule is not tough compared to most SEC schedules. I just don't see him possibly losing enough games to get fired.

Who knows what SEC play will hold, but I can confidently guarantee that UT will beat VA Tech by 17+. The OOC games Butch has lost are to Oregon and Oklahoma, and VT is nowhere near that level. They barely scraped 6-6 in a weak ACC and although Fuente is a good coach, he won't have his system in place nearly at the level it will take to hang with UT for 4 whole quarters.

-UT manages to go 7-5 or worse
-or concrete proof comes out that supports all of the title IX allegations

They really need to break the streak and beat UF at home this year or those next 3 (@ UGA, @ A&M and Bama) are going to be really difficult. They'll lose a lot of confidence and have a lot of pressure on them if they lose to UF when it looks like they should be the better team.

Probably but Fuente is a very good coach. I don't think they'll be any good but I wouldn't be surprised if they were either.
