Auburn has played some Thursday night road games (@MSU), this year we play @ KSU on a Thursday. Hated it because I wanted to go to that game.

There were some entertaining Thursday night games last year--almost all of which were "Saturday worthy."

Ole Miss/Vanderbilt should be up there too. Great game to watch.

Southern Miss used to give Bama trouble. No longer scheduled.

We won the last five in the series when it was played every year from the 80s to 2005. We only lost three times to them over that 25 year period. USM wanted out of the contract after 2005.

Played USM every year up to 2005. Then gone. Hence, off the schedule. I know Bama beat them regularly. USM gave them fits on occasion. It was not a typical rent a win. If you say uSM was always a push over then you fail. Bama fans are soooooooooooooo sensitive. Sure, USM wanted out of the contract and Bama let them out.

Relax! Jesus tap dancing Christ.

Bama great. Happy?

Mal Moore didn't want the series to end. But they weren't getting a return game either. HENCE, they didn't renew the contract.

You got pwned dummy. Just take the punishment instead of trying to play it off. The series ended after 2005 because USM wanted a home visit from Bama which was not going to happen.

I think the only reason LSU was on one because it was at Starkville.

The real reason we have to play on Thursdays in College Station?
