As much as I hate to admit, the SEC needs Auburn to look good in this game.
A win would be quite the feather in the SEC cap.

Not that I really want that, but it's the truth.

I think it'll be close for maybe 1 and a half qtrs. After Clemson goes up by 2 scores, the wheels come off for AU.

42-14 Clemson and Dabo trash talks afterwards.

Didn't say they didn't have other good players. That's not my definition of scary though. None of those guys you listed are going to beat us by themselves. Watson almost certainty will though. Watson is the best college QB since Luck, maybe Newton. If Clemson had a QB even one tier below Watson, like a Manziel or something then suddenly this game goes from "holding out hope that it's close or there's a miracle" to a realistically winnable game.

I said it months ago, I think Auburn upsets Clemson.

I hope you are right. Would love to see Auburn ruin their season right out of the gates.

Didn't Bamascoop and his buddy Redfish predict the NCAA would take away Auburn's BCSNC in 2010? How did that prediction turn out? I was told by the St Clair Co D.A that scoop is full of shite.

PS, I heard Redfish on the radio recently, the guy is still a goob.

Hell, it's at Auburn and when has Clemson ever had sustained success?

I'll say this, should Clemson win, I'll start to believe in Dabo a bit.

At first, I thought Dabo Swinney's career would go down the drain like Gene Chizik's did, since Clemson lost Chad Morris (and Auburn lost Gus Malzahn the first time).

He made a believer out of me.

I'm in the "do it again" mode after the run they had last year.

Still sceptical about him, he's done a fantastic job in a weak conference.

Dabo will run it up, and then rub it in.

What's the worst home loss in AU history? It'll be something like that.

Was that 2012, or 2011? Or both?

ETA: I remember Barrett Trotter playing against Clemson in 2011, Kiehl Frazier in 2012.
