I'm rooting for Bama. Don't care for Clemson. I like Saban, and it's just 1 more of 25 NCs, so who cares.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to live in South Carolina if Clemson won the Natty. That fanbase is one trashy collection of people. Not to mention my Gamecock buddies might choke out a tater, so I’m looking out for their best interest. Roll Tide

I'll pull for Bama. I've always kinda liked Clemson, but I've enjoyed watching Saban build his dynasty. Plus, Bama winning will piss off the SEC haters.

Our HC is your DC so I will be pulling for Bama. But I pull for the other SEC teams in bowl games regardless.

I pulled for Clemson over Okie because I pretty much despise all Big 12 schools since they trashed us on the way out. Okie was a prime offender, so I was happy to see them get their arse kicked.
Now I'm rooting for Bama to skull frick Clemson to the NC.

It is kinda win win for us.
Bama wins? SEC looks impressive for recruits and Nick Saban is that closer to retirement.
Clemson wins? The USC program we play every year is crushed like never before. Their recruiting will be fricked up for something like a decade.
I like USC personally so I am rooting for Bama, but for most either one works.

Regardless of what you want to see, SEC dominance is good for the winners and losers in the SEC. It lets schools like Ole Miss, MSU, Arky, etc. pop into the top 5 or 10, have top 20 recruiting classes, and hire quality head coaches when they need it.
That stuff would never have happened without the success of other SEC schools. So, rooting or not, the best thing for your school is for alabama to win big. Having dominant teams like 90's Spurrier, Saban-Miles LSU, and now Saban at bama boosts all teams in the conference, even if it takes a few years.

I'll pull just as hard for bama as bama fans would pull for LSU if the roles were reversed. As in no way.

I am rooting for Bama...I don't get overly emotional about the rivalry. I just want Auburn to be the best it can be...I work with a few assumptions.
As long as Gus is at the helm we aren't really going head to head with Bama on many Offensive recruits, but we go head to head with Clemson often.
I would rather have the 2010 more recent title as a possible recruiting advantage against Clemson.
A small a part of me hopes if Saban wins another it will be enough...but I really don't believe it.

Most Bama fans rooted for LSU in 03 and in 07. Fact.
