So does anyone know why this other guy was being paid $45,000 per year?

Because frick you, thats why.

But seriously...its not like we are trying to run a bare bones operation down there. The overall staff is huge.

seems like a mistake since Saban can't control such a large group of employees.

I get it. I'm just wondering about this guy and the other 8 assistants and what value they possessed that got them hired in the first place.

I just googled the two departments. Auburn has four S&C guys. Bama has 13. (make that 12 now, I'm sure)

Apparently you don't get it, actually. Their value is that they have S&C training, and we wanted to hire them. The Alabama athletic department decided that the optimum number of available S&C coaches, for their program, is whatever number they hired.

Whats so hard about that to decipher?

To help with strength and conditioning, but I think the S&C program can survive and may even find his replacement. Are you dense?

Or did you just want to start another thread about how this guy was a bag man, just paid to get recruits, etc. even though it's been talked about ad nauseum? If that was your purpose (and obviously it is because you actually are NOT dense) then why not just come out and say it?

So then the program won't be operating optimally without Coach Harris, correct?

Maybe my cynical mind wonders about other possibilities.

I guess they'll work around his absence until they hire a replacement. Correct?

See pic of Scott Cochran above and watch him during the game. He is the official get back coach. I think the players avoid him like the plague and you should watch him in the weight room. All he does is yell incoherent shiz all the time. This is the guy that runs the program.

Not saying he isn't good at his job since the results speak for itself, but still, I am just saying.

As long as the LSU grad is there, they will be fine. Cochran learned from the best.

I hope the new guy Bama hires knows how to deer hunt and administer antler spray.

So one of Saban's department heads can't control one of his employees?
