a blind goat could recruit well to LSU... Miles is a solid coach, but recruiting doesn't have much to do with it, IMO.
He recruits the right guys for what they want to do in football. Not only that, he then develops them.

Nope...and not even if Bama is "currently cheating" (as some seem to moan about)and gets caught.

What CNS has achieved while at Bama + Bama's rich tradition of winning National Championships (15 NC's) has insured that Bama will never, ever experience suckage like they have in the past.

Probably. But Saban will be there for the next 10-20 years and they're not slowing down until he leaves.

Will Bama experience down years in the future...yes. All elite programs go through slumps. But if Bama learned anything from the last slump, I don't see Bama being down for that long again. A lot of that was self inflicted. It started with a fax in campaign that got Dubose hired (who had only been a DC for 1 year), and ended with major sanctions that was compounded with horrible coaching hires. If the PTB at Bama have learned their leason, then I don't see our future down years lasting as long as they did between the Stallings & Saban eras.

The Bear is still around so I guess that means Saban will still be around in 50-60 years.

Why do others have to wish for bad things to happen to the king of college football (Bama) when they should worry about getting better. We don't operate like detective Phil Fulmer. We worry about our own instead of trying to tear others down! RTR

Enjoy your misery.

Now that Bear Bryant is dead, Bama is DONE.

No doubt about it.

The 90's were some of the bad times for Alabama but some of the best for UT and both teams won a National Championship during that time and todays HS recruits remember when Alabama won a National Championship, how about UT?

Looking at their overall history in the SEC, I doubt it.

We have a deal with Florida and Georgia that if we ever suck again, they'll beat the shite out of you until we get back.

That's assuming, of course, that Vandy hasn't taken over football in Tennessee by that time.
