Y'all are really looking into our passing defense too much. The first 3 games we rotated in a lot of scrubs and many of the times we got burned deep it was our 2nd string guys in . LSU was not effective at passing until the end when we put in a lot of 2nd string guys.

Our pass D isn't as bad as many think. Calhoun is a very good DB. And A&M utilizes a short passing game which we have done well against, we just haven't covered the deep ball well

UAB threw for 400+ yds and put up 34 points on you. UAB is probably better then us on offense though.

LSU used this to convince themselves that they'd win and look where that got them.

A blow out in the first half, but once they realized they were playing Miss. State, damn near came back and won it in the second half with a QB that had 4 turnovers against New Mexico State.

Yeah keep telling yourself that. We pulled the majority of our starters in the 3rd.

It would be equally foolish to try to compare LSU's offense to ours.
We are going to move the ball on you and no one has the 121st ranked pass defense because of their backups.

The fact that you are talking about and basing a win off position rankings after 4 games is hysterical.

Clearly you've seen our work.

Yards covered by last 10 A&M TD receptions (in order)
25
59
86
8
50
70
30
20
48
13

That's a 40.9 ypc average.

How long were the attempted passes? A crossing route that turns into an 80 yard touchdown isn't an 80 yard deep ball.

Really? Take out all the no-names but keep Dak, your star player, in the whole game?

Grew up big Aggie fa.Dad has A&M season tickets and so grew up going to A&M games every weekend. Got a scholarship to LSU and so went there (Dad wouldn't pay tuition at LSU, only A&M). Pull for A&M.

Actually, the worst case scenario for MSU happened this weekend. A&M took Arkansas for granted, still escaped, had no injuries, and you can bet that Sumlin has the team's attention now.

MSU fricked.

Congrats. You used possibly the most overused narrative in all of sports. It's cool though. Keep singing what the khaki cult leaders are feeding you.

I know we pulled our starting OL when we were in the red zone and about to score and turned it over on downs because of that. We score there and LSU never had a chance of a comeback.
