Didn't say our defense was great or even good, I also brought up the biggest concern is the Raven injury which is why Honeycutt is starting.

They DID rotate heavily though, esp in the Front 7. They were seeing who could make plays and who couldn't. Some stepped up (Hall, Golden, Claiborne) and some looked terrible (Baggs and Sanders, though Sanders came around against Sam). Askew and a couple others are a work in progress, making a play here and blowing one there.

The weakness though is absolutely at Safety. The Front 7 isn't great but it will be fine. The CB's will be fine. Matthews and Honeycutt at Safety though is very concerning. There are ways to conceal it but they carry risks of their own.

They're not a 75 yard TD drive team.

Just the opposite, actually. Our total philosophy is ball control offense and tough defense. Yes, we get our share of short fields, but we are designed to grind out long, 5 - 10 minute drives and keeping our defense off the field and the opponents offense out of rhythm.

Yeah ball control, I'm saying that the majority of your TD drives dont go 75+ yards. You might go 10-30 yards every time no matter what but that doesnt result in points.
