LSU would be one, but unlike most of the rant I'm not rantard when it comes to geography. Just because we conquered a state doesn't mean we are part of the state.

Not jokingly at all. UTSA has a long ways to go but logistically, assuming SA continues to not get a pro team, UTSA has a solid stadium and a local population willing to get behind them. Given that most of the decent population centers and schools in Texas are along IH35, I think it is poised for a slow ascent as long as it can get some kind of toehold before all the super-conferences are locked into place.

I'm guessing the JFF bump is over. They weren't very good prior and there's no reason to think they will be much different in the near future.
