We were last. However that is probably the only year during the 21st century the cult football program has been better than Auburn

My apologies. Maybe it's "everything is bigger and better in Texas" is the correct saying. It obviously starts with egos and entitlement.

You would be incorrect on that count. Bo Jackson came out on the wrong end of a tussle with the Aggie Wrecking Crew back in the day.

Also, you seem fixated on the word "cult"

"Everything's bigger in Texas," is what you're looking for

Considering 2nd is sufficient to win a MNC, I'm really not that upset.

How many second place finishes did you predict A&M would have after year two?

TAMU were "tied" with LSU for 2nd. LSU beat TAMU in the head to head matchup, thus TAMU was 3rd in the division.

Zero, and that prediction came true.

This year I think 8-4 or 7-5. Good for about fourth in the division. In 2015, 8-4 maybe 9-3 so third. 2016... 9-3.

Sorry... don't see a second place finish in the near future.

8-4 is the mark this year. That's likely to happen and is perfectly acceptable considering the losses and our schedule.

Then again, there's no way AU even approaches the ovscene amount of luck that transformed them from an appropriately earned 8-4 to 12-2. So 9-3 is on the table, too.

No.

And Sumlin will be fired if so.

Only LSU and bama can lose so much talent and still have 10+ win seasons

Yet A&M was a demonstrably better team.

Second or third, though--doesn't matter. The books still read top 5 finish and facilitator of AU's worst defeat in Jordan-Hare history.

Doesn't matter.

So did Chizik. Therefore Sumlin sucks.
