Good point, I remember last year during the Rice game and Sam Houston game the excuse was that the defense was good its just that 7 starters were suspended but when they come back combined with the great freshman defensive recruits they brought in, the defense would be back to Wrecking Crew status starting with the Alabama game
Never materialized. In fact I say the A&M defense got worse as the year went on.

Arkansas could never beat the Aggies, except the record against you is 41-26-3 Arkansas, including three straight in Dallas where we play next year!

Will no one knew Sumlin inherited the best qb, in your programs history. He is gone now. So you are stuck with Sumlin and his mike Leach like defense.

Consecutive elite recruiting classes
Would equal "underperforming" when every single motherfricker on here, and the media, was saying wed be lucky to make it to a single bowl in our first couple of seasons
