He won more national titles than Spurrier when he was at UF

He neither played there (and won a g.d. Heisman) nor built their program up from sanctions.

They renamed the campus police department's jail cells after Coach Meyer, I do believe....

No UF fan looks at Meyer anywhere near the same light they look at SoS.

They are grateful for the two Nattys he gave them. But he left there a disaster and in poor taste and the fall out afterwards was terrible.

Let's not forget Spurrier's one and only title was a mulligan.

Spurrier built the program, is an alum and Heisman winner, and was there longer

I'm pretty much a Spurrier hater and even I don't have to ask this question.

Most don't even want him in the Ring of Honor. Hell, there are some not happy with Spurrier's name on the field.

Spurrier put UF on the map. Florida football was a joke before he got there. Plus he played there and won y'all a Heisman. People forget how Spurrier dominated the SEC in the 90's...Bama ran off Stallings because we could never get past Spurrier and the Fun n Gun.

I'm thinking Charlie Pell and Urban should have something named jointly for them.

Urban is a far better coach than Spurrier.
